TRENDING VMAs ON TIKTOK

In 2021, we flipped the script on traditional awards shows with MTV's Trending: VMAs. This was the first-ever TikTok-powered VMA experience, directly celebrating the artists and creators shaping today's music scene. We didn't just adapt the VMAs; we reimagined it for a Gen Z audience. My team and I crafted a vibrant, digital-first brand identity, complete with dynamic animated segments, killer social promos, and a full suite of TikTok-native marketing. Oh, and we designed a totally unique, TikTok-ready Moonman, because why not? Quen Blackwell brought the energy, and we brought the visuals, making it a truly next-gen awards moment.
